"Cute, but not great in the water"
I really wanted to like this. It looks cute, and I was excited to try it out. But once I got in the pool… not so much. The fit felt off, kind of awkward, and it made swimming feel harder than it should. I felt slowed down the whole time. One short swim was enough for me. I haven’t wanted to use it again.

I tried to exchange my order and it was just... annoying. It took days to get replies, the instructions weren’t very clear, and I still don’t have it sorted out. At this point, I’m just done. Probably won’t order from them again.

The site works fine overall, but using it on my phone wasn’t always smooth. Some of the menus felt clunky, and I got a little annoyed because it wasn’t always clear where I was supposed to go or what certain options meant.

I wasn’t really happy with it at all. Maybe I just got a bad one or something, but it felt like it wasn’t put together with much care. I don’t think I’d use it again.

"Looked a bit fake to me"
In my opinion, the mermaid tails just don’t look very realistic. They have more of a fake, costume-like look than I was expecting.

"Really uncomfortable fit"
I expected this to fit normally, but it was way too tight everywhere and just uncomfortable to wear. I’m disappointed because I trusted the sizing, and now I don’t feel like I can rely on this brand the same way again.

The dress itself was fine, nothing amazing but not terrible either. At first I figured returning it would be simple enough... and then, wow, it got annoying fast. I had to email them more than once, the return label instructions weren’t very clear, and the refund took longer than they originally said. I did get my money back in the end, so that’s good, but the whole process was way more frustrating than it needed to be...

I ran into an issue and reached out to support, but the replies were really slow and nothing actually got resolved. it felt like a lot of time spent going back and forth without any progress. If anyone else in the community is dealing with the same thing, I’d suggest keeping screenshots and details of everything from the start, because you may need to follow up more than once.

I ordered my usual size from mermaidseries.com it fit nothing like the size chart claimed. I even measured myself before buying, so I really don’t think this was on me. It was tight in some spots, loose in others, and just sat weird overall. Now I have to go through the return process, which is already annoying enough without getting stuck dealing with some automated system that never seems to understand the actual problem. I definitely wouldn’t trust their sizing again.

"They Sent Me the Wrong Stuff"
My order showed up, these clowns sent me stuff I didn’t even pick. The size was wrong, and one item was completely different from what I ordered. I tried to get it fixed, but the whole thing was such a hassle. Definitely not ordering from them again.

I got this delivered sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and the box was totally crushed when it arrived. The item itself didn’t seem like it had much protection inside either, so I was a little surprised it made it at all.

"Still waiting on a reply"
I emailed support twice about my order and never heard back. I even checked my spam folder and the exact email address I sent it to, thinking maybe I messed something up, but nope. It’s really frustrating when you’re just trying to get a simple update and it feels like there’s nobody actually on the other end.

"This Would Be a Gift-Giving Disaster"
I can’t see myself giving this to someone as a real gift. It has more of a last-minute novelty buy vibe than something thoughtful or nice. I’d feel low-key mortified wrapping it up and handing it over like it was supposed to be a special present.

"Stitching started falling apart way too soon"
I was disappointed with the stitching on this. Right out of the package, a few seams looked uneven and there were loose threads everywhere. Then after just one wear, one part actually started opening up. Come on now, for the price, I expected it to at least be sewn properly. I wouldn’t order this again.

"Refund took forever and I felt passed around"
The refund process was way more frustrating than it should have been. I kept waiting and checking for updates, and every time I reached out it felt like I was being passed around instead of getting a clear answer. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me it took way too long and felt like they were just dragging it out

"Color was really off from the photos"
I ordered from mermaidseries.com and, uh, the color looked nothing like it did in the pictures. Online it seemed bright and really pretty, but when it arrived it was dull and kind of cheap looking. I even checked it in different lighting just to be sure, but it still wasn’t close. Super frustrating since the color was the main reason I bought it. I wouldn’t order again

I only wore it twice before the material ripped, so that pretty much says it all. I wouldn’t buy this again and wouldn’t recommend it.

"Felt Unsafe and Kind of Left in the Dark"
I didn’t feel very safe using this in the water. It was awkward on me and made it harder to move around than I expected, which took the fun out of swimming quickly. I also felt a bit left in the dark because there wasn’t enough clear safety info to make me feel confident using it. Maybe it works fine for other people, but for me it just made the whole experience more stressful. I wouldn’t use it again unless there were better instructions or safety details...
